Here is a vintage 1940's Otto Link "Improved Model" Tone Master tenor. It is stamped 4* with the large font stamp serial N90. This mouthpiece now measures .094" on my gauge.
This comes from the collection of Pat Labarbera who used these pieces off and on throughout his career. It had some work by another refacer but was very worn and adjusted with era appropriate finish by Sebastian Knox.
These mouthpieces were the choice of many famous musicians from Charlie Rouse, to Johnny Griffin, John Coltrane and Stan Getz.
