Brilhart Tenor (1930's) "Designed By" Arnold Brilhart HR
Here is a rare, original 1939 era “Designed By” Arnold Brilhart Hard Rubber tenor piece. It is marked with a 4 digit serial, 1050 and measures .080” on my gauge.
Arnold Brilhart was an early leader in woodwind design and manufacturing. In the late 1930’s he started his now famous company in the town of Great Neck, NY on Long Island. These early pieces are rare to find in good condition like this one and feature a deeper chamber than the subsequent versions and would be great for someone looking for the classic large chamber experience with a moderate baffle that rolls into a beautifully crafted tip rail, reflecting the hand work that went into finishing these gems.
