Brilhart Tenor (1960's) "Hard Rubber" 3* KNOX custom 103 tip
Here is a vintage, 1960’s Brilhart “Hard Rubber” model tenor. This piece was carefully opened up by Sebastian Knox to a .103” tip opening or similar to a vintage 7*.
This piece is a very good example of what makes vintage rubber Brilhart pieces so special. The slightly tighter core provides a hint more focus and stability up and down the range while the high quality hard rubber resonates very nicely and feels very powerful.
Great match with vintage horns for great intonation and stability or modern horns to lend a little vintage vibe to your sound. Gig ready and needs nothing.
