Selmer Tenor (1950's) Short Shank "Soloist" C*
Here is an original, 1950’s Selmer “Soloist” C*. This mouthpiece measures .070” on my gauge.
This particular example has a lower rollover baffle more common with Soloists of this era. In addition to being good classical choices, small-tipped Soloists make good candidates for opening and refacing to a more contemporary opening for jazz and popular styles.
