Here is an original lacquer, 1972 Selmer Mark VI alto saxophone. This horn retains approximately 95% of its original lacquer and has a fresh overhaul. It had previously been in storage shortly after it was purchased.
Later production Mark VI altos in the Canadian market had a very light colored lacquer and the French floral pattern with stylized butterfly. Altos from this era are much punchier than their 5 digit siblings and are very easy to play in tune, due in part to a return to the medium bow.
This saxophone comes with the original padded Selmer case with the attachment to place your flute case inside. It needs nothing and is gig ready.
