Phil Barone Tenor (1994) "Precision Crafted" Handmade One of a Kind
Here is an original condition of Phil Barone “Precision Crafted” tenor mouthpiece. It is marked “110” and measures .108” on my gauge.
Very good original condition, this mouthpiece was made on May 2, 1994 in Brookly, NY by hand. This mouthpiece was designed with the commercial player in mind and features a very high step baffle reminiscent of the Guardala Studio model. This piece is a one of a kind as it is plated in black chrome. I spoke with Phil himself and he told me that he only made three in this finish, and that this is the only one with a high baffle.
