Berg Larsen Baritone (1950's) "Boat Table" 110/0 T KNOX custom 115 tip
Here is a vintage, 1950’s Berg Larsen slant signature 110/0 boat table baritone piece. This piece was opened and optimized by Sebastian Knox to a .115” tip opening, with a “2” profile baffle configuration. This particular model has the rare “T” stamp to indicate that it was made to use tenor reeds. It includes the original cap, lig and box.
Berg Larsen mouthpieces from the 1940’s and 50’s are among the best designed and made mouthpieces ever. This particular one is no exception and was opened to .115” in order to adjust the tip shape to accommodate baritone reeds. The end result is a classic jazz baritone mouthpiece that can play warm and dark or absolutely scream in a horn section for funk and soul music. Gig ready and needs nothing.
