Dukoff Tenor (1960's) Transitional BRASS D7
Here is an original 1960’s Bob Dukoff D7 tenor mouthpiece in nickel plated brass.
This mouthpiece is a transitional design when Dukoff was moving away from traditional round chamber, low baffle designs to something altogether new that would cater to the louder sounds of the 1960’s. This is also before he designated these as the Super Power Chamber model. These are made from very hard brass and are ideal for someone looking for that D chamber design but in a very stable material.
This example must have been played a lot as there is plating loss under the window and a gouge in the bite area from use.
