Here is a completely original, single owner Guardala Michael Brecker II model for tenor. This mouthpiece measures .112" on my gauge. Although it's very faint I believe the serial to be 1745.
This piece is a great example of gear that was used a lot but also well maintained. Of course, this mouthpiece shows signs of the typical plating wear that all handmade Guardalas eventually suffer but the facing still maintains a clean break at 25mm and measures evenly from top to bottom. There is some visible wear to the bite area that was made from old school pink dental acrylic. Tooth wear can be filled in but I prefer to leave that up to the customer.
This piece features a heavy step baffle that opens up nicely into a very large chamber for a powerful and full sounding combination.
