Otto Link Tenor (1970's) Early Babbit Tone Edge 6*
Here is an original, late 70’s Otto Link Tone Edge 6* tenor mouthpiece. This mouthpiece measures .099”on my gauge.
This mouthpiece is the highly desirable blank with the slim body, pronounced beak and heavy “clamshell” baffle, but different from the previous Florida body pieces. These have thicker rails and less hand work on the baffle that lends itself to a very punchy rubber tenor piece.
This piece came to us in a 21 S. W. 5th Street, Pompano Beach box but is marked 6 and likely not the original. The original pricing sticker is on the bottom.
