Brilhart Tenor (1950's) Personaline L4

Here is an original 1950’s Brilhart Personaline tenor mouthpiece. It measures .074” on my gauge.

Arnold Brilhart is a maker whose name is part of the pantheon of early mouthpiece designers and pioneers. His designs were not only the preferred choice of saxophone players from the 1940’s and 50’s, offering the widest ranges of tip sizes, facing lengths, chambers and materials.

Offered here is a Personaline model tenor with the designation L4 with the classic woodgrain biteplate and 5 digit serial number.

This piece comes to us from the collection of Pat Labarbera who is widely known for his work with such luminaries as Buddy Rich, Elvin Jones, Woody Herman and even Carlos Santana.

We prefer to sell our vintage mouthpieces in their original or existing condition and let the customer choose what to do with it. We can offer a 10% discount on our services for customization, please request by email at sebastianknoxwoodwinds@gmail.com.
